As the Director of User Experience for this start-up, I currently lead the entire user interface design process, beginning with mapping the service’s information architecture, designing wireframes and mockups, conducting user research, and finally coding the front-end of MyJobbert’s dynamic, interactive layouts. (I also write most of the copy.)
The end goal is to create a user experience that makes updating one’s resume and applying for jobs not only painless, but fun. We do it using lots of buzzword-worthy technologies, like HTML5, CSS3, drag-and-drop file uploading, and @font-face web fonts.
MyJobbert launched publicly on January 14, 2012.
